Commitment means
a stake in the ground, an unwavering "this shall be", "this is what we
are now working on to accomplish". This is different from a goal.
Goals have a quality of "we'll do our best, and the results will or not
be what we had set out to do." Most futures are related to as goals rather than a "committed future". Getting to commitment needs to start with the top most executives, and need to include at least all key players in the organization. Getting that commitment is the first step, and is a large component in the final success. |
